It's easy to get caught up in the daily grind of life and forget to take a moment to celebrate our victories, big or small. But it's important to recognize and acknowledge our wins, as they serve as a reminder that our hard work and dedication do not go unnoticed. Recently, one of our students shared a win that reminded us of this fact.
Ten years later, Leandra Terrazzano's straight movie offer.
Leandra had just filmed a Lifetime movie, a huge accomplishment in itself. But what made this win even more special was that it was a straight offer. She had no idea how she got the offer. When she arrived on set, the director approached her and revealed that he had suggested her for the role. He had seen her in a movie 10 years ago and had been impressed by her performance. When he read the script for the Lifetime movie, she immediately came to mind.
Leandra had been putting in the work for years, honing her craft and perfecting her skills. And while she may not have known it at the time, her efforts were not going unnoticed. The director's compliment was not only a validation of her talent but also a reminder that her work mattered.
We can all learn from Leandra's win. It's important to keep doing great work, even when it feels like no one is watching. Because eventually, someone will take notice. And when they do, it will be all the more rewarding.
So celebrate your wins, big or small. And continue to strive towards your goals with confidence and determination, knowing that your work matters and that your wins are worth celebrating.
