Studio Policies

By registering for classes or booking services at The Village Acting Studio, you agree to the below terms and policies as well as fully release, discharge and indemnify The Village Acting Studio and its employees, agents and representatives from any and all claims which may accrue on account of your participation.

Classes are educational and should not be considered an employment opportunity or audition. Attending classes is not a way to obtain employment as an actor. The presence of a casting director, or any other industry professional is neither a guarantee or promise of employment. As we are an educational institution, the use of the studio and faculty’s names and likenesses for any professional or personal purposes without our permission is strictly prohibited.

Registration

Payment as listed for each class or service is due at the time of registration. If a class is full at the time you wish to register, please email us at contact@thevillageactingstudio.com to be added to the waitlist.

Attendance Policy

We take attendance very seriously as regular class attendance helps us offer consistency in the classroom helps you and your fellow classmates get the most out of class. Therefore, we ask that you email your Instructor if you are going to miss class for any reason or if you are going to be more than 10 minutes late to your class. Makeup classes are at your Instructor's discretion.

Cancellations

FOR ALL CLASSES: A cancellation or cancellation request must be made at least three (3) days prior to the start date in order to be eligible for a a full refund. Cancellations made after this deadline but before commencement date are eligible for a 50% refund. Cancellations made after the class has commenced are non-refundable.

Personal Information

The Village agrees not to share your email, phone number or other personal information with any third parties without your consent. By submitting your personal contact information on any form or booking, you agree to be contacted regarding upcoming classes, services or offerings at The Village as well as to received updates and communication regarding your participation in classes, workshops or services.
