JEREMY O'KEEFE

Jeremy O'Keefe is an award-winning director, writer, producer, casting director, and educator. His second feature, Somewhere Slow, won Best Narrative Feature at the Brooklyn Film Festival, enjoyed a theatrical release through Screen Media, and is now streaming on FreeVee.

Currently, Jeremy is casting several feature films, including Eyes in the Trees (Anthony Hopkins, Jonathan Rhys Meyers), The Wolf and the Lamb (Angus Macfadyen, Q’orianka Kilcher), The Dregs (featuring Emmy nominee Nava Mau), Boris Is Dead, The Tonite, Confined & Contra.

Jeremy’s spent over nine years in TV comedy with Greenstein | Daniel Casting and Sherie Hernandez Casting in Los Angeles, earning him both Artios and Heller nominations. He has collaborated with every major network and streaming platform, with highlights including Mindy Kaling’s groundbreaking Netflix series Never Have I Ever, the Carol Burnett/Amy Poehler pilot Household Name for ABC, the first two seasons of TVLand’s Teachers, and the final two seasons of Key & Peele (both with Sherie Hernandez).

As an educator, Jeremy has served on the faculty at AMDA and has been a guest lecturer at Wallace State, Webster University, and the American Academy of Dramatic Arts. He teaches mindfulness-based audition techniques nationwide, with a commitment to discovering and nurturing authentic talent. Jeremy is passionate about maximizing the positive impact of TV, film, and theater on audiences and the world.
