Caroline was supposed to be a doctor. To add fuel to family concerns about her welfare she
slept on many futon beds acting in regional theatres across the US. A “lucky” audition ignited
her interest in casting and a lifelong devotion to create a positive experience for actors when
they enter the audition room. For more than 20 years Caroline has worked on numerous
features, series, video games and late-night TV with Disney Studios, Nick Jr., Warner Bros.,
Sony, Paramount, Twentieth Century Fox,
Showtime, ABC, CBS, NBC, The CW, and Fox TV. Teaching has grown out of a profound love of casting and coaching talent all over the world. She teaches her class BOOM THE ROOM globally and at universities across the country including The Juilliard School, NYU Tisch, The New School, and at her alma mater, the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she earned her MFA in Acting. Caroline is currently a professor at Pace University and University of Texas at Austin.
